I woke up on Tuesday morning not knowing that I was going horse riding! We hopped on the tram to go rent bikes and ride on the path to the horse place. We rode through the city and then got on the path that went along the river. After riding about 15 miles we stopped for lunch in a tiny town called Savonnières and purchased quiches and savory donut holes. When we finished lunch we got back on our bikes and rode another 10 miles in a lot of headwind but, we finally got there. It was a huge ranch with 57 horses and ponies. When Max and I got our helmets on we led our ponies into the arena to hop on (my pony was a brown and white paint called Kinder). It was a really pretty ride through the countryside on a road that took us through a lot of fields of grass. We even saw a pregnant horse on the way back. When we got back they untacked our ponies and then we got to groom them. When we were done with the ponies we rode to the next town where we were going to get on the train and went to a cafe while we waited. I got to try Dad’s Monaco! It was a super fun day but after riding 25 miles I was really tired when I got home!
