We went on a hike on Tuesday. It was very pretty with all the ferns, berries and moss. At the start of the hike there were cows with bells around their necks. It was a ski mountain so there were two chairlifts. About half way up there was a big herd of cows and calves. There were two cows tame enough to pet, they were both soft. After the cows Lilia hiked up in her sports bra. The trail was very steep and we climbed 2595 feet, that’s a lot! The mountain had a great view at the top. When we were hiking to the bottom I saw a cave so I went in it. It was a fun, scary and heart turning hike.

That is a great review of a fabulous and memorable hike in the high country and of getting to pet some bovine along the route.
