When I was six years old I went with Max and Dad to San Sebastián. When I went this time with the whole family, I remembered some places, tastes, and sights along the way. We got off the train at 2:00PM and dropped our bags off at the little apartment and then went down to explore old town and get a bite to eat, we got some pintxos (pintxos are seafood, meat, and/or veggies on pieces of bread). After that, we went to a glassy beach where I played in the sand and the boys messed around in the water while Mom talked to Gramps on the phone.
The next day we went on a funicular to the top of a hill to see the pretty view. After Dad got a few photos we went back down to the town and rented surfboards to surf/boogie board. For our last full day we went on a hike up in the hills that were really pretty and had a ton of views of the ocean. SanSebastián was a really fun town that had really good food and lots of places to swim. If you are going to go there, don’t forget to eat a lot of pintxos!
Lilia, Thank you for sharing your experience in San Sabastian with a beautiful bay and beach. You look very cute in a wet suit. Did you have a favorite Pintxos?
