Nerja is a little town just outside Malaga in front of the beach. It was a cute little apartment with a pool and a beach right in front. We stayed there two days and went swimming on the first one. The first day we went to two beaches and ate paella at the beach below our house. The snorkeling was awesome at the first one because it was clear water and it had a ton of fish to look at. The second one had not that clear of water but had some jumping rocks. There were more people at the second one but we still got to throw the frisbee. The paella was pretty good and Max and I had a Calippo. The second day we went hiking and then went to see an Alhambra. The hike was very strenuous but we all made it through safe and sound. On the way down I got to pet a horse and also see a colt with it’s Mama. That was probably my favorite hike in Europe. We didn’t get to go inside theAlhambra but we got to see the grounds and gardens (theAlhambra is kind of like a castle). Nerja was a cute little town and I’m glad we went there.

I can see why the gorge hike was your favorite and your confidence much bolder for the swinging bridges. Then to top it off with a mare and colt visit!
